Attention to young people from 12 to 18 years old, care is given by a dentist, where we help them to solve the main concern of this group: "facial aesthetics".

Smile design is a set of procedures and techniques such as changing the shape, size, color, position of the teeth according to the type of smile, face and even the personality type of the person.

It is a procedure that is performed frequently in dentistry, endodontics, also known as root canal treatment, means working inside the tooth. This procedure consists of extracting the pulp or nerve of the tooth, it is a tissue that is located inside it, that gives life to the tooth, that is why it feels stimuli for example to cold and heat, then it is filled and sealed with a special material, in order to keep the piece in the mouth and prevent extraction.

To perform this root canal or endodontics, a clinical and radiographic diagnosis is required before proceeding. Today we have a technology tool to help us in diagnosis, such as 3D dental tomography.

With advances in technology in dentistry and specifically in endodontics, today we have equipment and bio materials that help us enormously, such as rotating or reciprocating equipment or systems, etc., apex locators and to visualize the field of work, There is the microscope, all these tools make the visit or experience of the patient in the office pleasant.

Dental Implants are artificial roots on which dental prostheses are made. As a treatment, it represents an aesthetic and safe, clinically proven alternative to traditional crowns, bridges and dentures. Restorations with implants offer a similar appearance and give a feeling more similar to that of natural teeth, allowing high levels of comfort, safety and confidence with respect to traditional treatments.

Before placing an implant in the mouth, you must do a planning, that is, using a 3D dental tomography, necessary to observe details of the bone or bone tissue where it is going to be implanted, such as the Axial, coronal and sagittal cuts. Traced images allow us to see bone width, density, dental nerve, and / or lesions that a conventional radiography does not allow us to see. Today, 3D tomography is a tool that is almost inseparable from dentists, implantologists, surgeons, endodontists, etc.

Pediatric Dentistry is the specialty responsible for the management of dental health of children and adolescents. In this stage we can prevent and diagnose early any pathology or alteration at the level of teeth, gums or malocclusions (of bite) existing in the development of each child and correct them in time. You should keep in mind how important the first visit to the dentist is. According to this experience, it will be his attitude towards later attention, even when adult.

The specialists who take care of children are known as Pediatric Dentists, the same ones who are prepared to attend the needs in these ages. They are responsible for good management or performance, so that the patient's experience is the most appropriate for when he is an adult.

Oral rehabilitation is the part of Dentistry responsible for restoration; that is, it returns the function, aesthetics and oral harmony through prostheses, whether fixed (porcelain) or removable. Restore a dental piece due to loss of structure, with a simple fit, incrustation and / or crowns in porcelain due to great destructions or to solve aesthetic problems, always looking for an occlusion and correct function in the stomatognathic system.

In oral rehabilitation porcelain is widely used as E-Max or Zirconium, which are of excellent quality and durability for many years, are highly aesthetic and free of metal. And that they are used or recommended according to the case.

It is responsible for the study, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of anomalies in the shape, position, relationship and function of dentomaxillofacial structures; being its practice the art of preventing, diagnosing and correcting its possible alterations and keeping them in an optimal state of health and harmony, through the use and control of different types of forces.

The orthodontist is the specialist in charge of attending and taking the case from beginning to end. It is very important that the patient and / or parents know that before placing a single bracket in the mouth, it is necessary to do an analysis or cephalometric study, which is nothing else than an exclusive cranioencephalic diagnosis to carry out the orthodontic case. It consists of taking 2 types of x-rays, a panoramic, a cephalometric, plaster models and photographs of the profile, front of the patient, photographs of bite records. With all these tools the specialist takes the results or diagnosis of how the case takes, approximate time of treatment, whether or not it is necessary to perform extractions before, during or after removing the brackets, facial type, technique to be used, type of appliance use, as the case may be, etc.

The bad dental position can be corrected with fixed and removable appliances (orthopedics), with metallic or aesthetic braces, it can be lingual or invisible orthodontics. Depending on the case, the best option is advised or recommended.

Periodontics is the specialty of dentistry that is responsible for treating the gums and their effects such as periodontal diseases, and who treats it is the Periodontist. They understand the problems of bleeding and inflamed gums but without bone destruction, in which case it is a gingivitis; and cases where there is compromise of the bone that fulfills the function of dental support, and can lead to the loss of the piece, in which case the diagnosis is of periodontitis, which evolves from an untreated gingivitis, when the calculus goes away accumulating below the gum line, forming periodontal pockets, damaging the root of the tooth and the surrounding tissues.

For the diagnosis it is necessary to visit the professional to make a clinical and radiographic evaluation and determine the type of disease and treatment plan to follow.

The oral surgeons are dedicated to the extraction of impacted third molars, radicular or apical remains, retained teeth, labial frenulums, extirpation of maxillary cysts. It is important before performing any action on the patient's mouth to take a periapical, panoramic x-ray or 3D dental tomography. Oral surgery is used primarily to remove parts that are included or that are causing pain or infection, with the idea of eliminating these discomforts to patients.

Dental equipment

We use the microscope as a powerful tool in achieving a good diagnosis, which ensures both the professional and the patient that everything seen in the mouth is real. The microscope helps us to better visualize decay, leaks or misalignments of wedges, fractures, loss of tooth structure, etc. We count and use this equipment not only in specialties such as endodontics, but also for a general check-up or diagnosis, to every patient that visits us.

We use fully equipped dental units for more comfortable treatments for our patients.

Sterilization is an essential process for the operation of a dental clinic, absolutely all instruments to be used must be sterilized. This process involves the destruction of all microorganisms in moist heat by coagulating their cellular proteins, preventing the spread of diseases through cross-transmission. In order to offer our patients treatments with the best biosecurity standards, we sterilize our instruments in an autoclave, through saturated water vapor at a pressure of 15 pounds, which allows the chamber to reach a temperature of 134ºC in 25 minutes. In addition to this before sterilizing the instruments is disinfected and packaged in individual bags that have a witness that indicates at the end of the process that the sterilization was completed.

Sterilization by dry heat produces the destruction of microorganisms by oxidation of their cellular components. To sterilize by dry heat, a higher temperature and longer time is needed. The sterilization of materials or instruments is achieved at temperatures of 170ºC for 2 hours.

It is a device that is used for prophylaxis or deep cleansing, it helps us to eliminate tartar, tartar, spots caused by coffee, tea, and cigarettes. It uses interchangeable tips which are inserted in the handle of said instrument, operate in a wet field thanks to the spray that cools and at the same time washes the areas where it is working. Eliminates tartar in a less traumatic, less painful and faster than manual instruments.

The advantages of the rotating system when performing root canal treatments allow us to perform a less traumatic, faster and more effective procedure

It is a high-tech electronic tool that gives us great precision when performing root canal treatment. Among its advantages are: the precise determination of working length, greater accuracy and helps us to diagnose a false way or a perforation.

Used in periapical digital radiographs for dental diagnosis and accurate periapical digital radiographs for endodontics. It is a digitized image visualization tool, which allows us to select the color parameters to enhance the contrasts in the images to be analyzed, which is difficult to observe by the traditional method. It allows to see details and share them between professional and patient. All the X-rays taken from our patients are kept in a computerized file to observe the evolution of the treatments and if the patient wishes, he receives them by e-mail. Digital X-rays reduce radiation by 80-90% compared to exposure to traditional dental x-rays. The taking of digital X-rays has a great advantage for the patient because the exposure to radiation is up to 100 times smaller and the high quality of radiographs allows us to issue a 100% reliable diagnosis. The radiovisiograph is state-of-the-art technology, which generates quality images and high definition. Its advantages are: minimum exposure time of patient / operator radiation, avoids traditional development reducing attention time to be immediately displayed on the computer and high quality and defined resolution of images by computer.

Periapical radiography is one of the techniques used in intraoral radiography. Intraoral radiography is an exploratory technique consisting of the placement (inside the mouth) of radiographic plates of different sizes that are impressed, from the outside, by an X-ray machine. Periapical intraoral radiography techniques, also known as retroalveolar or retrodental , they serve to explore the tooth in its entirety, from the crown to the apex, the periodontal space and the bone tissue that surrounds it. They can be done through two procedures: the bisection technique and the parallelism technique. It is a necessary and indispensable tool in any dental consultation, which greatly helps the professional for a better diagnosis when making a decision.

Radiographic dental exams provide valuable information that will evaluate your oral health status. With the help of the x-rays we can see what is happening below the surface of your teeth and your gum. They should be taken with protection aprons or aprons. Special vests, lead; that avoid radiation contamination for both the patient and the operator. A lead apron with a collar to protect the thyroid area is recommended for the patient. It should be a measure of routine protection when taking an X-ray in all patients and compulsory when taking x-rays in children because they are growing and would be the most affected and in pregnant women because of the damage to the fetus. Although the exposure to radiation emitted for dental radiography is minimal and would not cause any effect, all preventive measures are not superfluous.

The dental camera allows all our patients to see on a screen the state of their teeth before, during and after treatment.

We use it to make myorelaxing plates, whitening acetates, mouth guards, buckets, bruxism plates, retainers, surgical protections, provisional, etc.

In several of our procedures we use programs that help determine the best treatment option.
